Friendship House is a non-profit, Christian corporation committed to making a difference in the lives of the homeless people of Wilmington, Delaware through the spiritual ministries of hospitality, education, empowerment and community. There are transitional housing programs for women who have decided to make changes in their lives. It is a closely supervised program during which women address their personal issues. Terry Hohman is the champion.

Sojourners' Place offers homeless men and women a place to get their lives back together, a place to come to and go out from. Since its opening in 1991, more than 500 people have completed Sojourners' Place programs and are living in the community in their own housing. Currently,  grads are being trained to reach out to people and help them stay connected with the services at Sojourners' Place. Carol Droge is the champion.
