The Mission Society for United Methodists The goal of the Mission Society is to reach the unreached with the Gospel, and help national churches finish the task of winning their own people for Christ. Missionaries go to the lost on behalf of Christ in partner ship with local churches like Ebenezer to fulfill God's vision for the world. We support Charles and Becky Jackson who are ministering in Paraquay. They have used their skills to help establish a brick making business to help the local economy in addition to pastoring a United Methodist church in the area. The evangelical Mission Society is not officially connected to the United Methodist Board of Global Ministries but has permission to contact and seek support from local UM congregations. Anne and Craig Wellman , from our congregation, have spent time in Paraguay with the Jacksons and would be happy to share their experiences with you. Lee Holtzclaw is the champion.
