dent.  We often had to shoot, from the kitchen window, the ground hogs that tried to eat our garden veggies.  That made holes in the kitchen screen.  We wondered if anybody ever figured out what made the holes.  The Hemphills did it!!  I'm confessing.
That winter, if it snowed during the day, many times I was the first person to go up Polly Drummond Hill.  Mr. Nelson, on his way home from work, would wait for me, to help out in case the car got stuck.  Fortunately it never did - but I was grateful for his thoughtfulness.
I loved being in the choir.  Mrs. Jackson was a joy.  And, how lucky we were to have known Uncle Jimmy & Aunt Essie Little!!
There is no way I could mention every church member.  We loved them all.  Even now, when I fly East, I try to spend a Sunday morning at Ebenezer.  Haven't been able to do it for several years.  Now, the roads are changed & I'd probably get lost coming from New Castle.
Thank you for the invitation to attend your 175th Anniversary.  I don't expect to go East at that time - but, appreciate your thinking of me.
